Annual Charity Lunch 2024 - Friday, 17th May 2024

Following discussions with the PICT committee and the incoming 2024 President , John Haslam, we thought it would be nice to find a new venue for next year’s charity luncheon. After examining several alternatives, we have settled and booked the RIBA building [Royal Institute of British Architects] for Friday 17th May 2024. This is an iconic building in Portland Place London W1 with good links to many major rail networks. We have moved the date into May as the RIBA venue has some good outdoor space for, we hope, socialising and networking in the sunshine.

As is the way of the world these days the prices have risen slightly , but will now include a free reception drink and a free half bottle of wine with lunch. With the free drinks at this exciting location , we feel the ticket prices are still very good value. Members tickets will be £130 and guest tickets £150.

We are also introducing a 50% discount for attendees under the age of 30, as we seek the increased involvement of our younger colleagues and contacts in our industry. The discount can only be offered for 1 person on each table but you can have as many under 30's on your table as you wish.

We have a number of sponsorship packages available at £500 each, which hopefully you will take advantage of. These include the following benefits:

*Company logo on lunch programme

*Premium Table position

*inside half page advert in programme.

This continues to be PICT’s main charity fund raising event and we endeavour to make it enjoyable , with plenty of time for networking, whilst raising funds for the charity. We are also confident that the new location will be well received .

I do hope that you can join us and support the Paper Industry Charitable Trust. Would you please help us by booking your tickets and tables as soon as possible. They will be round tables of 10. Tables and sponsorship can be reserved now by emailing Anne James - anne@pictuk.com

I very much looking forward to seeing you all on the day.

With my best wishes

Mike Gee
