The PICT Charity Golf Day was held on Thursday 10th October at Rothley Park in Leicestershire. The day was well supported with ten teams competing.
As always, we were made very welcome by the team at Rothley Park and the course was in good condition with the greens proving a challenge to the players.
The winning team was Elliot Baxter and the team’s Captain, Chris Sanderson, received the prize and congratulations from the PICT President, John Haslam.
Fred Haines, who organises the event, would like to say a big thank you to all the teams who participated and those that donated prizes. And the good news was that the day raised £950 for the charity.
This year’s event will once again be held at Rothley Park and the date of the 9th October has been secured. Invitations will be sent out soon. However, if you are interested in entering a team to this event, in the first instance you can e-mail either Fred Haines or Anne James.
